How would you like to listen to Kabhi Tanhaiyon Mein Hamari Yaad Aayegi live? And from the same person who sang it originally? Yes, this is Bhoole Bisre Geet at its best!

The Hyderabad Youngmen Association, in association with The Department Of Culture, is organising Bhoole Bisre Geet, a Hindi musical nite of Naushad's hit numbers, on 17th June, at the Lalithakala Thoranam. Mubarak Begum is a veteran movie singer of the 1950s, who sang some songs like Neend Ud Jaaye Teri Chain Se Sone Wale (Yeh Dil Kisko Doon), Kabhi Tanhaiyon Mein Hamari Yaad Aayegi (Hamari Yaad Aayegi), Aye Dil Bata (Khooni Khazana) and Mujh Ko Apne Gale Lagalo (Hamrahi). Tonite, she will be singing two of her hit tunes.

Usha Timothy has sung some songs with Amit Kumar, Mukesh, Hemalatha, Mahendra Kapoor, Asha Bhonsle, Mohd. Rafi, and Anuradha Paudwal, for some lesser-known films like Chattan Singh, Jaan Hazir Hai, Truck Driver, Birju Ustad, Vishwas, Zoro, Fareb and Sati Nari. Poonam Bhatia is a pop, ghazal, bhajan and playback singer, who sang for Pardesi Babu (1998), Jeetenge Hum (2001), One 2 Ka 4 (2001) and Dhund: The Fog (2003). She has participated in many musical nites in India and abroad, rendering songs of Lata, Asha, Geeta Dutt and Hemalatha.

Manphar Iyer is the founder of a renowned Mumbai-based music troupe Keep Alive. He is a musicologist and a vintage music expert.
