(IMG:style_emoticons/OurHFMEmot/happy.gif) Unreleased song of Kishoreda (IMG:style_emoticons/OurHFMEmot/happy.gif) composed by Madanji released on the 23rd Death Anniversary of the legendary singer
08 October 2010

The legendary Kishore Kumar passed away 23 years ago on 13th October 1987, leaving behind a treasure trove of songs and performances that will always be remembered. Madanji passed away 35 years ago and his immortal tunes are still remembered today. Together, Kishoreda and Madanji made some memorable songs. Infact Madanji scored the music for many a Kishore Kumar starrer including MEMSAHIB, BHAI BHAI, CHACHA ZINDABAD, MANMAUJI, LADKA LADKI and others.

Some of their songs together included, Dil Dilse Milakar Dekho, Aye Haseenon Nazneenon, Des Chhudaye, Mera Naam Abdul Rahman, Badi Cheez Hai Pyar Mohabbat, Bach Gaye, Zaroorat Hai, and, in later years, Simti Si Sharmayi Si, Rahi Tha Main Awaara, Har Koi Chahta Hai Ek Mutthi Aasmaan and various others.

One of their unreleased songs, Aaj Mujhe Jal Jane Bhi Do, was featured on the album TERE BAGAIR and was widely appreciated by their fans.

On the occasion of Kishoreda's 23rd death anniversary we now release on the Madanji website, another song recorded by them which has never been heard before.

This song, LADKIYON KO CHAHIYE WOH COLLEGE MEIN SEEKHLEIN was recorded in the early 70's for the same film as 'Aaj Mujhe Jal Jaane Bhi Do', tentatively titled REHNUMA. Written by Naqsh Lyallpuri, it is a naughty, teasing song... similar to the mood of Zaroorat Hai, and more in the mould of an earlier song of the duo, Suniye Suniye Aaj Ka Ki Ladkiyon Ka Programme.

It is a situational song and indeed different from the Madanji style of songs. The highlight of the song is the parody element and the comic performing bits by Kishoreda, at which he was unique!

Indeed this 'first time heard' number will be enjoyed by the fans of Kishoreda as it, once again, brings to the fore his multifaceted genius.

We pay our tribute to dear Kishoreda with the release of this song, never heard before.
