This is certainly one of the best songs of both Mukesh and Shyamsunder. Somehow, I have always thought it to be a private song. Later when was told that it is from film Actress. I was definitely surprised. Its composition is so much in the line of many other non-filmy songs of Mukesh.

I received this song from a friend of mine who had it on a reel to reel tape. I passed the same information the song came with. I agree with you that all information I am checking for this song points to that it is a non filmi song and not from the movie Actress. I am editing my information about this song in my previous post. I am sorry for the confusion.
